‘Siluro’ Floor lamp by Angelo Lelli for Arredoluce, Italy 1957

Exclusive Floor lamp Model no. 12628 'Siluro' by Angelo Lelli for Arredoluce, Italy 1957. Stunning design with beautiful refined details of the highest quality. The design has a certain rising energy in it, seems every detail wanted to lift of the ground. For that reason the lamp has given the name 'Siluro' which means Torpedo. All in perfect balance and highly defined: the beautiful ufo shaped sconces made of thick white and yellow colored acrylic glass are floating between the thin black lacquered metal tubes connected with wonderful brass construction parts. The metal tubes are hold together by solid brass cone shaped parts, the base is made of beautiful white Carrara marble with skew edges and a 'bowl' shaped top. The lamp is untouched and fully original including the original brass switch and wire. The lamp is certified by the experts of the archive of Arredoluce; a numbered sticker inside the lamp and certificate of authenticity is provided. All in excellent condition with a beautiful warm patina.
